God dam
A story about two beavers who work at a post office.
As the project has moved through development I've taken on a number of tasks, including visual development, scenic fabrication, set design, prop fabrication, and even 2D photo animation- I'll learn to do anything if it helps progress the film
God Dam

Scrapped forest environment
This set ended up getting cut from the film, though that doesn't take away from the development process I went through. Even though this set won't be attached to "God Dam" in its final form, it still was an excellent learning process.
Developmental drawings for both tree shapes and bark textures.
Layout test done in watercolor and pen

Mocking up the forest
After designing the trees on paper, I moved over to mocking up the layout with foam core. I also started doing texture tests using clay, cardboard tubes, paper, and Mod Podge.

As you can see, this was the exact point in time where we realized the interior set was way more important to focus on due to the short timeline we had to produce a proof of concept. I was able to paint the flat colors of four trees after our proof was finished, but shortly after that the decision was made to scrap the forest and rework the plot of the film.
